Andrea Wagner

Andrea Wagner, FNP-C, has been a nurse practitioner for over 10 years and strives to provide individualized, compassionate care to all patients, regardless of age or  background.

Background

Andrea moved to Oregon in high school and learned about the career option of becoming a nurse practitioner while in a medical opportunities class. This was an intriguing idea as she loved a challenge and loved the idea of helping people. Her senior year she traveled to Uganda to work with a local organization helping people in impoverished villages.

Andrea graduated high school as valedictorian and attended George Fox University.  During college, Andrea traveled to India where she helped kids in an orphanage, including assisting them to get much needed medical care. This trip confirmed her desire to become a nurse practitioner. She graduated from George Fox with a bachelor's degree in Biology. In addition to a degree, Andrea met and married her husband Brandon Wagner while at George Fox. Andrea graduated with a master's degree from Seattle University's family nurse practitioner program and then started working as a nurse practitioner in Oregon.  Most recently, she has served as assistant director and primary care provider for Northwest Human Services.

Andrea and Brandon have three children, Elaina, Natalie and Evan. The Wagners also have a certified organic vegetable farm in Independence and have enjoyed growing healthy food for their community since 2016. When she has time outside of work, Andrea loves to help on the farm, cook great food and be outside biking, running, hiking or camping with her family.
